At Mary's Little Angels Studio, we want to endow our students with a love for dance that will last a lifetime and enrich their lives by instilling in them the values of perseverance, self-esteem, discipline, responsibility, respect, cooperation, and passion.  To achieve these goals, we are dedicated to providing an encouraging and supportive environment where our students can experience the joy of dance and the fulfillment of self-expression.  Emphasizing technique, skill development, and style, we believe dance should be a personally rewarding experience for each and every dancer.  Ultimately, our commitment to our dancers is to impart principles and ideals which they can follow for the rest of their lives.

1) Small Classes~~Passionate Dedicated Instructors
Small classes mean more dance space and, more importantly, individual attention.  It is crucial that all dancers receive the attention they need to master their lessons, which is necessary for progression and excellence.  For this reason, we limit the number of students in each class.  In addition, all of the instructors at Mary's Little Angels Studio are dedicated to each student’s improvement and to supporting them individually in reaching their goals. By limiting our class sizes, our instructors are able to devote the energy and attention required to assist our students in achieving their full potential.

2) No Contracts~~No Hidden Fees
At Mary's Little Angels Studio, students enroll and pay monthly for Fall, Summer and Spring Semester at a time.  For that reason, we do not ask our patrons to sign contracts with us.  When a Semester is nearing an end, we will simply ask you if you would like to re-enroll.  Semesters begin in June, August, and January.

3) Placement 
As a general rule, at Mary's Little Angels Studio, dancers at the age of 7 are placed in class according to ability first, age second.  However, it is often inappropriate to place students on the young end of the scale (7-9) with students nearing the adult end (15+) of the scale.  For this reason, we may offer the same class for different age groups at different times.  It is our general policy not to mix age groups which are vastly different.

 

4) Progression 
Advancement through dance levels differs with each student and depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, physical development, attitude, attendance, practice outside of class, and the number of classes studied each week. Students are evaluated throughout the year and promotions are made according to progress – usually at the beginning of a new semester.  Advancement is always based upon the comprehension of the techniques learned and ability to perform the techniques.
